Mentoring and the self-help industry

The self-help industry is defined as a holistic way to approach self improvement in a person’s personal, professional and spiritual life. It was a $10.5 billion industry in 2010 with projections of continued growth. Books, CD’s, DVD’s, television shows, talk shows, and support groups offer a great deal in the self-help industry.

However, many products are considered to be over-priced. It is very expensive to hire a personal coach or attend a seminar.

Hidden Gems members realize we have the knowledge and experience to build each other up. Wisdom and teachings have historically been handed down from one generation to the next.
